He mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa
Bonjour à toutes nos familles
Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori is next week!
All sorts of fun and interesting te reo activities are coming our way for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori! We are looking forward to celebrating te reo! If you want to try some new phrases out at home, have a look at these ones.
Victory for our Tournament of Minds teams!
Both our Tournament of Minds team were victorious last weekend! For the first time ever, we are going to the Nationals. Even more amazing is that it’s both our teams. They did such an amazing job, competing against lots of other schools and coming up with interesting and creative ideas to wow the judges! Go Team Stolen and Team Bird!
Futsal
We have over 60 children signed up for this Term 4 competition. We have coaches for our Year 5/6 and 7/8 teams but we are looking for a parent coach and/or manager for the Year 1/2 team and the two Year 3/4 teams. It may just be a case of being the manager on the day and managing the subs, so don’t feel shy about putting your name forward if you don’t know anything about Futsal. Our older children can help the younger ones with training at school.
Rebounder request
We are wondering if anyone has a rebounder in good condition that is gathering dust since their long forgotten quest to get into shape by bouncing up and down? My grandfather had one in the 80s and he seemed to enjoy it and we would certainly enjoy one at school so let sarah@ridgway.school.nz know if you have a spare one.
