Education Outside the Classroom

Learning doesn't just happen at school and neither does it only happen inside the classroom. There are numerous benefits to providing active outdoor learning activities for children of all ages. Education Outside the Classroom activities include going on a school camp, day walks, visits to museums and libraries, and attending shows at various venues in Wellington.

Year 5 - 8 tamariki go to camp during even years, year 4 - 6 tamariki have a Noho at Pipitea Marae during odd years.

Year 4, 5, 6 Noho at Pipitea Marae - 20th - 21st June

Year 5/6 - Forest Lakes  3rd - 5th April

Year 7/8 - Camp Makahika 17th - 20th September
