School closed on Tuesday - education holiday

The reason everyone forgets that the Tuesday after Easter is an education holiday is that it's usually in the holidays so we don’t have to worry about it!  Enjoy Childcare are running a holiday programme that day so get in touch with them if you’d like to book your child in (admin@enjoychildcare.co.nz).

Camp for Year 5s and 6s

Kererū are off to camp on Wednesday morning!  Wishing all our Year 5s and 6s a fabulous camp, with lovely weather. Hopefully the parent helpers are planning on getting some extra sleep this Easter in preparation! 

Book Day and Literature Quiz!

In the last week of term, on Thursday 11 April we will be celebrating Book Day! Dress up as your favourite book character. We will have a parade of outfits and admire all the characters from our favourite (and maybe some yet to be discovered) books.  We will be running an optional Literary Quiz for our readers to test their knowledge of the children’s classics, myths and legends, adventure, New Zealand stories and graphic novels (amongst other things).  Hopefully this inspires everyone to get reading over the Easter break!
