Tournament of Minds this weekend

Some of our Year 7 & 8s are competing in this competition at the university this weekend.  Both teams won last year so we are looking forward to seeing how they go tomorrow.  Wishing all our competitors the best of luck!

Education session with Project Jonah

Project Jonah is an organisation that looks after and protects whales and dolphins as well as educating people. They believe that the more tamariki/children who know about the amazing marine mammals that are right here on our coastline, the more they will want to help protect both them and the moana/ocean that they call home. Tui Whanau will be holding a ‘Mini Bake Sale’ on Thursday 5 September at lunchtime outside Tawa. Items will range from $1 - $2. Funds raised will be used as a koha / donation to cover costs of the presentation from Project  Jonah. More information can be located by visiting their website www.projectjonah.org.nz
