Te reo extension group and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (14 - 21 September)

For Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) this year, Ahurea Tuakiri kōmiti [our cultural responsive committee] would like to take awhi [care] of the staff. Our extension Māori rōpu [group] will make kai for our kaimahi [staff] each day of the week.  If you are able to offer any assistance with ingredients, in particular kaimoana [seafood], fish and paua or the teaching of the tikanga around cooking in te ao Māori we would really appreciate your awhi [help]. Our hoodies

With much excitement, we can introduce you to our school hoodies!  They have our school logo on the front and then your child’s name (or last name, or nickname) on the back and they are the beautiful colour you see below.  We are taking pre-orders now and then they will drop at the start of Term 4.  The cost is $65 for child/youth sizes and $70 for the adult sizes. Calendar Art

Tamariki have been working on a piece of art that can be turned into a calendar, diary, sketch pad and more. You can check out the artwork on the @school app. Orders can be made here and are due by Friday 30th August. Delivery will be in Term 4.
