Pre-loved clothing sale - bake sale and kapa haka performance

Keep bringing those clothes in! (Maybe ransack your friend’s wardrobe too if you go to their place this weekend.)  We will also be running a bake sale that we would love contributions for.  If you have a household of keen bakers, you can bring something in the day before (on Friday 6 June) or before the bake sale starts on Saturday morning. Our volunteers will need time to price it up so if it could be here before 11am that would be great.  Also, please write out the list of ingredients so those with allergies can choose what to buy with confidence.

Our whole school takes part in kapa haka and we would love a big group to perform to open the pre-loved clothing sale. If you’re coming along to the sale, it would be great if  your kid/s could be here by 11.45 so they can get into their kapa haka uniforms and get in the performance zone ready to blow the socks off the audience!

Sale starts at 12!

Cross Country - Southern Zones

Our competitors did an amazing job at the Southern Zones cross country yesterday. It was a cold, cold day and all our runners were awesome and did us proud with their efforts, achievements and their behaviour. We are still waiting to hear how many got through to the next stage of the competition. Thanks to the parent helpers!

Rudi’s lonely shoe

Has anyone discovered a lonely shoe in their child’s bag?  Rudi has somehow, mysteriously, lost one of his shoes. His other shoe is sad and pining the loss of its soul (or should that be sole?) mate. If you find it, Rudi’s left foot would be very happy as walking wearing only one shoe is starting to be annoying and his toes are very cold.

Babysitter available

One of our fabulous teacher aides, Maike, is looking for babysitting work. She is available afternoons from 3pm and evenings and her number is 027 330 9599.
