Term 1, Week 10, 2019 (Wednesday 10 April)

He mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa - Warm greetings to all! We are at the end of what has been a great term. We wish you and your family a happy and restful break.

Show Me The Money (...or how much money did the fair make?)

The amount raised from the school fair was a grand total of $10,890. Again, a massive thank you to the Fundraising Group who helped organise this with Sue Campbell - Jo Nixon, Nicole Kaufmann, Jessica Wells, Becks Johnson and Robyn Connor. Thank you to all the parents who donated goods for the raffles, Silent Auction and supervised stalls on the day. Also a big thanks for supporting your children in their organisation, as well as to all those who came on the day! If you would like to see a breakdown of how much each stall raised, this information is available outside the office.

Thursday - stalls at lunchtime

As some of the senior classes have leftover items from the fair, they will be opening their stalls throughout lunchtime on Thursday 11th April. Children are able to bring their coins if they are keen to explore these again. There will be face painting and crafts, ice creams and lollies for sale.

Term 2 Inquiry - Wellington Waste Heroes

Our inquiry focus next term across the school is called Waste Heroes. We will explore waste minimisation and take action to change our school and community's waste behaviour.

Reminder about the start of the day

Please remember that classrooms are not open until 8.30. Teachers often have before school meetings and aren't available to supervise children before this time. This also means that if children come to school before 8.30 they will be unsupervised in the playground. Thanks for your understanding.

Have a great break everyone. See you on Monday 29 April.
