End of year reporting

We are using a new system for our reporting and some of you would have noticed some glitches with us getting it out. We apologise for the glitches and say whoops! Please get in touch with Sarah (sarah@ridgway.school.nz) if you have any questions. You will be emailed out the end of year summary on Monday but you can also view it via the app, fingers crossed.

French language education Label

We are delighted to have been awarded with the "LabelFrancÉducation" seal.

Launched in 2012, the "LabelFrancÉducation" seal is granted to schools promoting French language and culture as part of their specific curriculum. "LabelFrancÉducation" recognizes and rewards schools that offer students enhanced instruction in the French language while also teaching other subjects in French. "LabelFrancÉducation" promotes outstanding education in French among students and parents.

"LabelFrancÉducation" is granted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs based on the advice of an interministerial advisory committee composed of representatives from the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education, the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), the French institute (IF) and Mission Laïque Française, a non-profit organization.

Goodtime Music Academy

Last week we had Goodtime Music Academy come and perform. They are offering music lessons next year on their bus during school time. Your child should have brought home a flyer about this and you can check them out here

Goodtime Music Academy is taking enrolments for 2022 in-school music lessons now. If you want your child to be a part of these award winning music lessons, and may not want to commit to taking your child anywhere after school, then in-school lessons may be the solution for you. Learn in a group setting, and choose between Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, Ukulele. Or try their 'Intro to Music' course. Please visit www.goodtimemusicacademy.co.nz/learn-at-school to enrol and enquire. You can also call them on 04 568 2237. Spaces are limited so get in quick!
