He mihi mahana ki a koutou katoa
Bonjour à toutes nos familles
What an exciting week!
It’s been an epic week here at school. We’ve had a visit from some of the Phoenix players (if you’re an instagrammer check out the Phoenix’s page) and children got to ask questions, then do some drills in the rain with them! We’ve been gifted the opportunity for 23 of our students to walk out on the pitch with the players at their home game on April 12th and one person will get to do the coin toss! We will work out how we pick the lucky 23 next week.
We had a musician from New Caledonia, Gulaan, come and perform this week, as well as Les Renards Volants, a French theatre company, who performed for the children today.
The tamariki have continued to work with Stephen on ultrawilding the city.
What a week of sport, culture and design up here on the ridge!
A plea from our Road Patrollers
Our hard working road patrollers have asked me to share this message with you:
Please don’t park on the yellow lines or double park anywhere when you’re picking up or dropping off because it blocks our view. We can’t put our signs out when we can’t see the road clearly! Help us do our job and keep everyone safe by not doing any illegal parking!
Teacher aide for Maddison
Many of you will know Maddison who has been with us since she turned 5. Maddison is currently transitioning to Wellington East Girls College and we are after a teacher aide to support her to have a successful transition. This job is during school hours but can be flexible and would suit someone with a car and kindness! (Her current teacher aide is sadly moving to Auckland - thanks Josh!). The job will run for as long as Maddison needs support. Let Sarah know if you might be interested and would like more information.
