Ridgway’s Got Talent

This year, we are holding this at school on Monday 12 December at 2pm.  This is the chance for your child to perform a special talent or act in front of the whole school. They can do it in groups or by themselves. Auditions for this are next week at lunchtime.  

Monday 28th lunchtime - Kōtare

Tuesday 29th lunchtime - Tūī and Ruru

Thursday 1st lunchtime - Kererū/Kākā

Outdoor area ready to roll (fingers crossed)!

Those who come to school will have noticed that the outdoor area is nearly ready!  This means all children will be able to play wherever they like in the school grounds from Monday.  The older children have been restricted to playing on the field rather than the playground recently due to overcrowding and little ones getting hurt.  They are doing a final walk around now to check it’s all OK so all going well, we are good to go on Monday!

Clean up day - 19 December

Traditionally we use the last day of school as staff to clean and tidy up. We ask that if you are able to keep your child/children home on this day, then please do.  Obviously this doesn’t work for everyone and we understand that, but if possible it’s much appreciated!

Recycling bags

Due to enthusiastic levels of recycling, we’ve run out of bags again.  If you have any spares, it would be appreciated if these could come to the office.

Vogelmorn Bowling Club End-of-Year Gathering

On Saturday the 10th of December we are holding our End-of-Year Gathering and would love to see you there!

When: 12pm - 4pm, Saturday 10 December

Where: Vogelmorn Bowling Club and Green

Who: No matter how many times you've come to Vogelmorn, whether you're here every week or you've just been here once, we'd love to see you there!

What: A casual get together for the community, ahead of us heading off for our summer breaks.

Bring a plate of kai and something to drink and we'll sit in the sunshine and enjoy each others' company.

12 December: Year 8 Farewell 6pm - 7pm (at school)

15 December: Final assemblies (junior assembly 9.15am and senior assembly 2.15)
