Matariki Celebration
Thank you to our wonderful whānau group for organising this event. The kapa haka were superb, the kai was delicious and the stars were out and shining! Thanks to everyone for making this such a wonderful community event. Ngā mihi o te tau hou!

Piano Lessons
One of our talented parents is now able to take on a few students for piano lessons on Monday morning during school time. Her website is www.bethchenpiano.com and you can email her on bethchen@bethchenpiano.com.
The French Delegation Visit - Friday 28 June
We have been selected by the Ministry of Education to showcase our inclusion practices and how we include diverse learners to a group of French delegates, who are visiting from Central Val de Loire. The French education system is quite a lot different to ours and the mayor of a French town is on a mission to make the schools in the region more inclusive. There will be a film crew covering the delegation as they travel around New Zealand and visit six different schools. The film crew are making a documentary about the mayor and his journey toward inclusion. The crew will be here to film the delegates, rather than the children but it is possible your child may appear in the background. If you are worried about this or would like more information please email principal@ridgway.school.nz.
